Clinical Reflexology

Clinical reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary therapy based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears correspond with different areas of the body. The aim is to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanism.

Using specific techniques, clinical reflexology will probe, stimulate and massage the reflex points on the feet. As a clinical reflexologist I will be using the 5 elements as a “diagnostic” tool with the aim to optimally guide the body towards balance. Treatments are therefore very specific to the individual person receiving the treatment.

Clinical Reflexology is suitable for all ages and have been found to help with many physical and psychological symptoms such as headaches, hormonal imbalances, back and neck pain, period pains, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, difficulty getting pregnant, decreased side-effect symptoms and improved recovery time after receiving chemotherapy, stress, constipation, fatique and reflux in babies to name but a few. 🙂

After a treatment, you may experience:

* Reduced tension which can help improve circulation and thus improve blood flow.
* A deep sense of relaxation.
* Reduced stress enabling a return of your body’s natural state of equilibrium.
* Detoxification of the body through improved lymphatic drainage.

All of the above combined can leave you feeling re-energised.

Clinical reflexology treats using the 5 elements as a “diagnostic” tool with the aim to optimally guide the body towards balance. Treatments are therefore very specific to the individual person receiving the treatment.
